What IVRReady does

IVRReady inspects IVR prompt audio, tells you whether each file is technically compatible with your contact-center platform, plans safe corrections and builds a deployment package. It is not a general-purpose audio converter or editor.

The Amazon Connect profile

  • Container: WAV
  • Codec: G.711 μ-law
  • Sample rate: 8,000 Hz
  • Channels: Mono
  • Maximum duration: 300 seconds
  • Maximum file size: 50 MB

Statuses

Ready
Technically compatible with the target and needs no correction.
Fixable
Not compatible today, but IVRReady knows a safe correction — for example 48 kHz stereo PCM becoming 8 kHz mono G.711 μ-law.
Warning
Deployable, but a quality check flagged something: long edge silence, clipping, or an unusually low level. Warnings are not platform incompatibilities.
Error
The file cannot be inspected or safely corrected — an unreadable or corrupted WAV, an unsupported structure, or output that failed validation.

Local processing

Your selected audio is processed on this device. IVRReady does not upload your recordings for processing and does not persist them between sessions.

Build and packaging

Prompts that are already compatible are copied unchanged — never re-encoded. Prompts that need correction are processed and then revalidated against the target profile. Only outputs that pass revalidation enter the package, which preserves your source folder hierarchy and includes a JSON manifest, a CSV manifest and an HTML report.

Why some files are excluded

A prompt is excluded when it cannot be inspected, cannot be corrected safely, or when its generated output failed revalidation. Other prompts keep processing, and you can retry an individual failure from its detail view.

Browser limitations

Direct folder output requires the File System Access API. Where it is unavailable, IVRReady falls back to a ZIP download. Folder selection, Web Workers and WebAssembly support vary by browser; the workspace shows what your browser offers.
